You know those things that happen that people say, "One day we'll laugh about this."? I like to call those "sitcom moments," because if it wasn't actually happening to me and I was watching it on a TV show it would be funny. It helps me laugh in the moment.😂 This "sitcom moment" happened this morning. We live out of town, so it takes intentional thought to make things happen. Our dog needed his shots and Wednesdays are a busy day for us, but I thought we could run him into town for shots and bring him home before all our other appointments started.
We had gotten his shots, and were pushing it for time so I decided to take the fastest route to the highway. A route I usually don't take because it is in a rougher part of town. When suddenly our dog poops!
The smell....was....so...awful!🤢 I rolled down windows and started gagging, all while my teenage daughter, that happens to be going through driver's education, is lecturing me about how dangerous it is to be gagging while I'm driving. So I pulled over and my sweet, precious 13 year old got the majority of the poop picked up in a bag.
We found a trash can and disposed of the bag. Then from the backseat I hear, "Mommy, he just threw up. He threw up a lot!" Thankfully I was able to vent via text message to my sweet husband. (Pic)
We finally made it home and everyone is feeling better.😉 What are some of your sitcom moments?
